At McArthur Park Kindergarten we have a proud tradition of 50 years of quality care and education.
We have a caring staff team who are dedicated towards meeting the individual needs of each child to ensure positive learning outcomes. We value working in partnerships with families and our close connections within the local community and our successful school transition program.
We are situated in peaceful, serene surroundings opposite natural parklands. The children enjoy a spacious outdoor learning environment with creative play areas including a sandpit with a cascading water course and an elevated timber cubby house and fort.
The indoor learning area is equally spacious and enables the children freedom and space to engage in play based curriculum. The children benefit from a wide range of educational resources. Our children can engage in up to date technology including working on the interactive "Smartboard".

Session Times
Children begin sessional preschool twelve months before they begin full time school.
Pre-entry:
Pre-entry sessions are available for one session per week in the term before starting full time preschool. Pre-entry provides the opportunity for children to gradually become familiar with the kindergarten staff, the environment and kindy routines.
Preschool sessions:
Our preschool sessions are held from Tuesday to Thursday. Included in full day sessions is a one hour lunch care period. There is an additional charge for lunchtime care which is payable at the beginning of each term.

Playgroup Information
Parents and carers are invited to our parent run playgroup for children from birth to five years of age to participate in a range of social and learning activities.
Playgroup operates on Friday mornings from 10.00am to 11.30am.

Occasional Care
We do not offer Occasional Care but we can assist you in finding child care for your child. Please speak with one of our staff.
